CES 2010 Las Vegas - Mitsubishi Electronics will showcase the flexibility and versatility of its 3D TV products by displaying 3D content delivered by various video sources, including Blu-Ray players at CES 2010 in the “Experience 3D Tech Zone”. Mitsubishi has also announced a new 3D adapter which will provide Mitsubishi 3D-ready Home Theater TV owners with an easy and affordable solution to display 3D from a 3D Blu-Ray player. The Mitsubishi 3DC-1000 3D adapter will be available in late spring of 2010. “As a pioneer in the 3D television market, Mitsubishi is bridging the gap for consumers to experience this break-through technology,” said Frank DeMartin, vice president of marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America.

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, the leader in large screen HDTVs, will introduce a line of Internet enabled HDTVs this year integrating VUDU Apps, a new platform for the delivery of Internet entertainment services. The lineup of VUDU Apps on Mitsubishi HD televisions will feature the VUDU Streaming Movie Service, the leading HD on-demand movie service available today, which is currently supported on select Mitsubishi Unisen Immersive Sound televisions. Mitsubishi’s 2010 line of Internet-enabled HDTVs will provide access to more than 100 software applications, ranging from news services to popular Internet sites, directly on its televisions via VUDU Apps.
